Children's fashion without borders: Choupette's debut at Emirates Fashion Week.

On 9 November in Dubai, Choupette presented its Ceremony collection for children as part of Emirates Fashion Week.

Choupette brand announces the release of a new episode of the podcast ‘I'm at my mum's franchisee,’ dedicated to the history and development of the brand. Anastasia Vasilkova, founder and development director of TM Choupette, was a guest on the show and shared the key stages in the company's development.

The podcast highlights the brand's important milestones:

  • The story of how an idea turned into an international network represented in nine countries.
  • The import substitution strategy: why 90% of production is localised in Russia.
  • The success factors that have allowed the company to remain successful in the market for over 18 years.

A special bonus has been prepared for listeners: a silver pendant from Choupette, which will go to the author of the most interesting question asked to Anastasia Vasilkova.

Details of the promotion can be found in the episode description, which can be listened to at the link.

Anastasia Vasilkova, Director of Development and co-founder of Choupette, took part in an industry meeting entitled ‘On the tasks for the development of children's goods production in the Russian Federation until 2030,’ which was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and chaired by Minister Anton Alikhanov.

The key topics of the meeting were measures to support domestic manufacturers and the implementation of the five-year development plan for the industry approved by the government. As the minister noted, the production of children's goods is showing stable growth of about 5% per year, and one of the main tasks is to maintain this positive trend.

‘For us, as manufacturers, the initiatives announced to adapt support programmes for small businesses are particularly important,’ commented Anastasia Vasilkova. ‘The reduction in the minimum loan amount and interest rate announced by Deputy Minister Ivan Kulikov will open up new opportunities for the development of Russian brands.

’The participation of Choupette's CEO in such a significant industry event underscores the brand's role as an active market player and confirms its commitment to the development of the domestic children's goods industry.

‘The industry focuses on things that really work in real life: precise cuts, comfortable materials and a palette of natural shades. This does not negate individuality — it manifests itself in combinations,’ Natalia noted.

According to the expert, in children's fashion this is reflected in softly tailored blazers and trench coats, simple dresses, capsule denim sets and knitwear that can be easily combined all year round. The emphasis is on tactile fabrics and calm tones with delicate splashes of colour. All these trends are reflected in Choupette's new autumn-winter collections.
